Both the Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Department and Palm Beach County Sports Commission have been extremely supportive of the Ski Club of the Palm Beaches through the years. Parks & Recreation has been a key partner in the development and oversight of the ski lakes, facilities, and rules and regulations. The Sports Commission has been instrumental in its support of major tournaments.

Palm Beach County Sports Commission is a private, non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life through sport. The group promotes and markets Palm Beach County to attract sporting events and activities and to foster and support grassroots sports development. It does so through an active grant program, corporate partnerships, local membership program, and local, regional, and national marketing efforts through a network of Olympic and national sports organizations and event owners.
